A Pencil Drawing of a Young Girl

This pencil drawing of a young girl was drawn in 2008. The photograph I used to render the drawing of this young girl was taken by Paul Huang. I came across the photo while rating images at DailyAwards.com.

I used graphite for most of this girl's face. The eyes and hair are done in charcoal. I asked Paul if I could draw this picture because he is able to take such beautiful photos. I find the girl in this pencil drawing looks slightly sad.
